Nick and Ellen found me through Ellen's uncle who hosted Kristen and Delilah's beautiful wedding. A lot of the couples that find me are from word of mouth lately and I love that there is this thread of people getting married who all know each other through one connection or another.

I met Nick and Ellen at a coffee shop earlier this year and I loved their chill but deliberate planning approach to their wedding. I also loved that they chose One Eleven East as their venue. I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding there for forever!

One of the best parts of the weddings was the surprise song Nick played (a Bob Dylan cover called "The Man in Me") for Ellen before the ceremony. They didn't see each other before the wedding but their wedding party and Ellen's parents were close by and everyone was in tears by the end of Nick's song.

One Eleven East is one of those venues that lends itself to almost any style of event and the folks who run it are so amazing to work with.

The greenery they chose to add to the venue was stunning. Allison, the wedding planner, made everything run seamlessly. The awesome guys from Cinemate film were also so lovely to work with.
