Taylor + Ryan // Wildflower Center Engagement

Taylor and Ryan found me on Instagram. They already have a wedding photographer, but they live in Austin and wanted to get their engagement photos done here.

For their session, we went to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, which is the perfect spot right now because Austin has finally decided to stop raining. Taylor’s mom also came along for help with outfit changes and general cheeriness.

This shoot reminded me how engagement photos aren’t just about what I’m bringing to the session. It has a lot to do with you and your partner.

I have a knack for creating quiet and calm moments where you can be yourself. But being open to trying weird photo ideas, coming up with your own weird photo ideas, and being ready to share your joy with your boo while I capture it matters, too.

Taylor and Ryan were ready, open, and in love. Photographing them was a JOY.
