Being a wedding photographer means that I follow a lot of Instagram accounts and keep up with what people are photographing, and I tend to see a lot of styled shoots.

I love styled shoots and I think they're great for getting inspiration from the amazing ideas people have and for building your portfolio and creating something that you may not be able to photograph at a real wedding. But sometimes, I think it can be kind of unrealistic to think you can always pull off what happens in a styled shoot for a real wedding of 150 people.

I think for prospective brides and grooms it's always a good idea to look at real weddings just to stay in that mindset, stay authentic to what's important to them and not feel feel the pressure to live up to something unrealistic.

This is a post of real weddings, featuring real couples who planned their weddings and were able to infuse their own unique style into it.
