Stephen and Adrian are people who care about the world around them and the relationships they form. When they talk to people, you can tell they're really listening and absorbing everything. They care about social issues, their families and friends, and each other.

Though I didn’t meet them in person until days before there wedding, I was able to get to know them through the stories their friends and family shared at their wedding. Honestly, every time I talk to anyone about this wedding in real life, I start to tear up and that's not an exaggeration. It was so beautiful, full of love, and it makes my heart burst every time I think about it.

There was this overwhelming feeling of love and openness at their wedding that I think everyone there could feel. Stephen and Adrian put so much thought into every part of their wedding at the River House at Pedernales. Also, I’ve never been to a wedding where immigration, gay rights, the way religion can be used to oppress, separate and unite people were purposefully mentioned during a Spanish/English ceremony by a pastor.
