Erin + Brent // Wildflower Center Wedding
Erin and Brent met on online when they were both new to Austin nearly 7 years ago. They bonded while getting to know their new city and each other as Brent finished his engineering undergrad at UT and began his work in autonomous electronics, and Erin finished up her AmeriCorps year and began working in technology for NGOs.
Hereβs what Erin & Brent had to say about their love when they got engaged- "Loving each other has taught us that when you approach the world with someone else, your perspective expands in ways one could never realize alone. On a hike in one of our favorite places in the world, we proposed to each other and committed to a lifetime of continuing that discoveryβ
Their thoughtfully planned wedding is one I just delivered and I'm happy to finally be able to share these photos with y'all. Their wedding was modern, thoughtful, and full of warm people and wildflowers.
Just some of what I loved so much about this wedding:
Erin's floral pink boots that were helpful when she was walking through the wild grasses
Chocolate wafer wedding favors
Snack bar upon entering the wedding for the guests
Floral theme for the wedding party
Nod to Erin's Hungarian family during the ceremony
Musical performance by Erin's mom
Joint toast by Brent's sisters
Erin's lovely sister officiating the ceremony
Speech by Erin + Brent's friend who couldn't be there
Locally grown flower arrangements
Having my mind blown during sunset photos
Erin + Brent being two of the nicest people ever
A friendly caterpillar
This preview from by wedding videographers Hereafter Films
Also, I loved working with Hereafter Films and the planners at Vintage & Lace Weddings too! Peached Tortilla did a great job with the catering and Makenzi Laine made everyone look and feel beautiful with her hair and makeup skills.
The other incredible vendors were:
Margaritas: Margarita Man
DJ: Byrne Rock
Erin's Dress: Willow by Watters
Brent's Suit: Indochino
Florals: DIY arrangements with flowers locally grown by Nutty Brown Farm
Rings: Vintage, resized and cleaned by Kruger's Diamond Jewelers
Ceremony Music: Chuck Anastasiou
My last note: go to The Wildflower Center! Take your grandma, take your kids, take your boo(s). It's beautiful, accessible, and in the springtime, it fills up with wildflowers.
