Anne and Josh made some really cool decisions with their wedding. They met at UT and would go walking the trails in Mayfield Park together (which is next to Laguna Gloria), so they always knew they wanted to get married in Austin.

Their downtown wedding at Laguna Gloria is one of the dreamiest weddings I’ve ever photographed. Anne has incredible taste and knows how to pick her vendors, and their wedding planner, Elizabeth McKeller of the Nouveau Romantics, blew it out of the water with all the incredible details. I was super excited to photograph this wedding because I knew it would be absolutely gorgeous, and it was.

Laguna Gloria is one of the few places in Austin that looks very tropical, and it’s part of the Austin Contemporary Arts Center. It was important to Anne and Josh to use a lot of the sculptures on the property- since it’s part of the arts center, there are beautiful outdoor sculptures all over.

They had their ceremony in the Temple of Love which is this beautiful tree covered area on the property with a gazebo. It’s surrounded by trees and bushes, and it was the perfect sized area for the amount of chairs and guests they had.

Anne’s father is a minister and he officiated the interfaith ceremony along with a rabbi. They did a Ketubah signing before the ceremony, and Anne literally looked like royalty in her beautiful two-piece dress and crown.

Anne had three outfits for the wedding day and they were all gorgeous, including a jumpsuit with holographic heels and a gold beaded dress that looked like it was made just for her.

The third outfit, the jumpsuit, came out after I left so a week after the wedding, we scheduled time to go back to Laguna Gloria and get some more photos of the two of them and Anne in her jumpsuit. It was super relaxed and really fun. We also got some more photos of them with all the nature at Laguna Gloria!
