Ana + Pedro // Vista West Ranch Wedding
Vista West Ranch is always a delight. The light there at sunset is just killer and there's an infinite number of approaches and locations for photos at this venue. I just went to their open house and found some more spots I hadn't considered before. If you're looking for a place that says romantic, Texas bohemian with a touch of modern rustic textures, go visit this venue.
Ana and Pedro's wedding was one of my last weddings of 2019. It was such a great way to start the close of 2019. I loved working with these two driven and lovely people. They are each others #1. Ana is working on her PhD and Pedro is an engineer. Their wedding was a great mix of modern and traditional. I loved that they decided to include the vibora and money dance during their reception- Vibora always provides the perfect amount of chaos for great reception photos. Also, I'm always interested in seeing how people incorporate or adjust cultural traditions into their wedding.
As you'll see from the photos below, the light, the colors, and their community coming together made for a very dreamy wedding. I'm so lucky to have clients that trust me to get all the important family photos as well as the more artful/candid moments.
In short, Ana and Pedro are the best.

Here’s what Ana + Pedro shared with me about their relationship:
“We officially met in college, although we went to the same high school and saw each other there. It was my first year in college, at an 8 am class. We both recognized each other from high school, started talking, and became friends. After a few years of friendship, we began dating and it was such a seamless transition. We have always been able to have so much fun together. Whenever we get together, there is so much laughter. Although we don't consider ourselves to have the same interests, we love learning about what the other person likes, whether that is art, music, movies, etc. It's always a fun adventure. We don't get to spend a whole lot of time together because we have been in a long-distance relationship for the past 5ish years while I complete my grad school education.
Although it hasn't always been easy, it's always worth it. We've been together for a bit over 8 years, but known each other for about 12, so there is so much I could say about all the things that make us great together, but I'll just summarize it... we are there for each other in the good and the bad, we support each other's goals, we trust each other, and we share a deep and intimate connection that we've never felt with anyone else but each other.”
