Chez + James // Fall Forest Austin Engagement

Hanging out with Chez and James was a real treat. In fact, just receiving their funny and thoughtful inquiry made my day. They met as teachers while living in Arizona. Through a series of burritos, sushi, a graduate program, and pancakes, they landed in Austin and are getting married this summer in California.

We did had our session at Roy Guerrero Metropolitan Park, which was a first for me. It's right on the Colorado River and a little muddy and overgrown but very lush as a result. I went a few days before to scout it and was really happy with the way the sunlight raked through all the wild grass there. There’s also a secret beach there!
