#GIFLIFE

Last night, instead of going out, Mark and I decided to stay home and make some gifs. Turns out gifs aren't just for cats and quoting movies anymore. There are lots of beautiful gifs out there by people who are far more talented than me.

If you're inspired by all these amazing gifs like I was, please think about submitting some  of your own to Mammal Gallery'sCall for Submissions.

Calling designers, animators, and otherwise digitally savvy people in the southeast for Atlanta’s first animated GIF art show.
Hosted at the Mammal Gallery this summer, the show aims to explore the quirky and endlessly surprising nature of the animated GIF. From reactions to looping animations to cinemagraphs, GIFs are often used as shorthand in online communication — our goal is to highlight them as works of art.Rules: No theme, no submission limit. They must be created by you or you must have the right to submit them (submitting for a friend, etc). All gifs must be submitted as a link via email by Wednesday, July 2nd. Those chosen to participate will be notified by July 28th.>>>SEND ALL SUBMISSIONS TO:  SUBMIT@MAMMALGALLERY.COM <<<<<
