Tallulah Falls Hike

Don't wait as long as I did to visit Tallulah Falls. Since we may be approaching the end of our Georgia stay, I'm trying to visit all the Georgia hotspots. Tallulah Falls is about an hour and half away from Atlanta and worth the drive for the beautiful scenery. Our friend Karthik was nice enough to invite us. There's approximately 1,099 steps and I'm pretty sure we climbed all of them. About half way through, I really didn't think I would make it, and they have small waiting areas along the way for you to take a break. Don't worry, I used those waiting areas and they are wonderful. :)

If you get there early enough you can get a pass to visit the base floor of the gorge, by the time we got there (11AM) they were all out for the day. 

So many steps!

If you are into panoramas, Tallulah gorge will provide you with some great views for you to stitch together. The visitor center provides, maps, history, and advice on how to handle the gorge. They also have lots of stuffed furry friends.
