Katelyn + Geoffrey // Modern Austin Engagement Session

Katelyn and Geoffrey are so cool. I haven't spent a ton of time with them-- maybe just a few hours and a phone call-- but they immediately felt like one of those super stylish, modern and connected couples. They know what they want, have amazing style, and dressed perfectly.

Katelyn shared her ideas with me and I was excited to do something little city based and editorial. Austin is a really forested place so it's honestly hard to think of that many places without a ton of trees or landscape of some sort, so this was really fun challenge.

A few spots ended up working great for their shoot. We went to the W Hotel and Eberly, a restaurant on South Lamar that feels sort of like a New York mid-century greenhouse. Katelyn has the golden touch because she was able to secure both spots for their engagement session. We ended the photoshoot at the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge, which always turns out beautifully.
