Alix, the lovely owner and maker of Rat des Champs, got in touch with me a while ago about her photo needs. Her business is called Rat des Champs and is based in Louisiana. We scheduled everything for the week she would be here for Renegade Craft Fair.

I’m so in love with Alix's work and how this shoot came together! She makes stunning, colorful clothing from vintage patterns and sometimes vintage fabrics. She does a lot of custom work and cares about ethical fashion.

While planning this shoot, Alix sent me some photos of what she was going for and I started looking for the right location and models. I knew she wanted something more editorial and more social media ready. Alix found TK from Las Ofrendas to help with styling, hair, and makeup. I found Barr Mansion and went through my running list of models I wanted to work with.

Over two days we were able to accomplish what Alix needed for her website. Working with these awesome women to make these beautiful images was so inspiring. I couldn't have asked for better collaborators!
