Ashton + Jason // Chapel Dulcinea Renewal
Ashton is a hair stylist who found me through my friend Leandra (who is an amazing high-end portraiture photographer who doesn't do weddings), and since we didn't do an engagement session I hadn't met her or Jason before their sunny ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea.
This was also the first time I ever shot 2 weddings in 1 day! Normally, I don't do that. But because Chapel Dulcinea has such a short 2-hour window, I was able to do one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It's an easy venue to photograph, it's not far from my house, and it was really fun!
Chapel Dulcinea also has a getting-ready room (which I only discovered that day) that's really roomy with great light and a big mirror. Which is really nice, especially for a tiny venue that you only have for 2 hours!
Ashton and Jason were originally married at a courthouse with just their best friend present. They decided to have a vow renewal at Chapel Dulcinea this spring with their kids, friends, and family all there.
Their friend officiated the ceremony, Ashton had one bridesmaid, and her mom walked her down the aisle. It was still small, but everyone got the wedding experience which was really nice. They have two little ones so we had to get photos of them pretty quickly (which happens sometimes) but we still got a lot of nice choices.
Their renewal was super sunny, short, and really sweet. Afterwards, everyone went to Salt Lick BBQ for food. Scroll down to look through some of my favorite shots from the day!
