Lucy + Michael // Austin Wedding

Lucy and Michael know how to get married!

The weather was perfect so Umlauf really shined. They had their ceremony at the University United Methodist Church on the UT Campus. Afterward, everyone headed to the Umlauf Sculpture Garden for an awesome reception with a biscuit bar and the Warren Hood Band getting everyone on the dance floor.

Here’s what Lucy and Michael shared with me about their relationship:

“We met at our friend Justin's birthday party. Michael noticed Lucy but nothing happened--he moved away for 6 months on away rotations during medical school. We reconnected at Memphis' local disco, Raifords, but we still didn't get together! A few months later, we went on a hike with another couple, two of our mutual great friends. We dated on and off for a few months...After Michael planned a surprise birthday party for Lucy at Gus' Fried Chicken she was hooked--we never looked back. We are each other's greatest supports and have learned a great deal about patience from one another. We live to make the other laugh. We both share a love for traveling, even if most of the time the only travel Michael's schedule allows for are lightning trips to the San Marcos outlets :D".”
